Sunday was a spiritual high. We were able to go to the temple
and watch as the President of our church Thomas S. Monson
put the first mortar in the cornerstone. There are lots of things
that go in the cornerstone and a few of them that I know of are
the histories of the church in this area, written testimonies, I
want to say the temple plans. Oh, I'm not sure everything. I
read all about it, but my memory is horrible. Anyway, lots of
cool stuff.
I took some video of him coming out and speaking and then as
he left so I thought I would at least post this one. A touching
story. It was so awesome to be standing right in front of the temple watching
our prophet speak to us. He told the story above and proceeded to do
the cornerstone. Here he is putting the first mortar into the cornerstone.

How fun to have that video! It was such a great day, wasn't it? We're so excited to go to our first session there. Adam is doing the 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday. I decided that instead of waking up at that crazy hour I'm doing my part by taking care of our kids, right?
No Way! I can't believe you guys got to go to that. How lucky. It was so wonderful just being able to watch it. We loved how light hearted and jokeing he was through the hole thing.
How cool, that really was amazing. I loved the little story you shared in the beginning, I just love Pres. Monson, he really has the neatest experiences.
That was a great day. I wish we could have gone to the cornerstone. Thanks for posting that video. I enjoyed it.
I am SO JEALOUS!! The Temple is so beautiful. I Wish we had stayed those few extra days to go through the open house. What a neat experience! And to be so close to the Prophet...WOW!!
