Getting some pictures posted of Macy's new room that is finally done!  The nice thing about this whole room was that everything was built, bought at the DI or stuff I already had.  I redid an old wood clock I had and put some turquoise felt on it (burning myself with the hot glue gone about a hundred times). My brother built the bunk beds for me, and idea I saw on pinterest and just loved because it created so much more floor space for the kids to play.  We repainted an old chalk board I got at a yardsale for $1.  I didn't know they had such cute colors in chalkboard paint!  Macy and I created some artwork out of canvas and crayons, also another idea off of pinterest.  I did so much painting for this room that if I never paint anything again I will be happy.  I got this night stand at the DI and painted and sort of distressed it.  Bought two new top handles and just sprayed over the existing bottom one.  Painted the beds, ladder, other pink dresser, chalkboard, mirror, bookshelf above the bottom bed and art pieces  above the top bed.  Macy helped me paint a lot which was fun to do.  I loved the way it turned out and wish I had such a cute room when I was a kid!

The kids had their harvest festival so we went and played some games and had some food. We painted pumpkins earlier in the day to take to school and be judged that night.

Happy 75th birthday to my wonderful Grandma Brown!  She is the best grandma EVER!  My mom, sister and I went over and had some dinner with her and blew out candles and had some cake.  Then of course opened some presents for her! She seems as young as she always has! She has always been such a great example to me of patience, love and kindness.  I love her so much!
