Forwarning: It took me at least an hour just to download all
the pictures and since I want to add this to my blog book
I will be doing lots of Journaling. Just skip the reading!!

Park City here we come! We bought this trip a couple of
years ago after we went there originally for one of those
cheap come buy our time share trips. I thought it would
be fun to take a couple of friends there the next time and
stay for 3 nights and 4 days and the girls could go shopping
and the guys could golf. That was the plan last year, but
our schedules never worked out. Now that I had a baby
we decided to just go as a family and take the kids with us.
At the last minute Joe decided he would rather go hunting
since it may be his only chance this year so I invited my
mom and off we went! We left about 4:00 on Friday and
ended up stopping in Layton to do a little shopping while
I fed Kaden. We stayed there a little longer than we
expected so the kids were a bit grouchy the last 1/2 hour
of the drive, but we finally made it to the hotel about 9:00.
Don't mind the mess already! I packed a whole suitcase of
food so we could save on going out so much so most of the
time we just cooked in our hotel which was nice.
grand with one room and I was so glad that we didn't take our
friends with us because the extra 2 beds would have been
miserable for them. They were just fold outs from the couch and
at the dining room table which is where the kids slept.
The kids love hotels so they had so much fun exploring.
suprise me if she could!

We spent most of the first day shopping! At the huge outlet
Enjoying our view from the balcony.
The kids had fun playing with this door. Brady thought it was
closed one time and ran right into it.
and then some other cute shops. The second day we went

to the Canyons to ride the gondola and here they are standing
in front of it.
The kids were excited!
This is the view just after we got on and started up the mountain
We thought the ride ended right at the top of the mountain, but

After that we went back up the gondola and of course I had to take
to our surprise it went back down the other side and up another
one. It was awesome. The funnest thing we did for sure and
luckily the tickets were good for all day so we rode it again later.
with you."
and down all the cute shops. They had a huge market going
on there with face painting and bouncy houses and tons of
local sellers there with all kinds of cool things. It was a good
day to go.

I had to take a picture of this monster dog. I was trying to get
one of the kids to go by it because you can't really tell how huge
it is all by itself but the head alone is probably double or triple
the size of a regular dog. It was the shop owners dog. Crazy.
After that we went back up the gondola and of course I had to takeyet another pit stop for Kaden. My mom took the kids on the nature
trail up around the lodge. The whole weekend was such perfect
weather!

or hike back to the where you originally get on the gondola.

My cute mom.
How cute is that little barn?

Brady dropped his shoe!

My cute mom.wishing Joe was there so we could take a family picture.
This was Macy's new pose. I have no idea where she came
up with it, but it was funny!
Afterwards we took them to this really fun park. The views
here are amazing!
most part it seem safe!

That night as we were getting ready for bed Joe showed up
We let Brady and Macy swim the first day and then we joined
them the second night. I forgot to bring my camera. Kaden,
my mom and I were all too cold for the pool so we relaxed in
the hot tub which was really nice.

That night as we were getting ready for bed Joe showed up at the hotel and suprised us! We were headed to the Hogle
zoo on Monday and he wanted to come. We were all happy
to see him!

It was such a fun and relaxing trip even though we were on the

It was such a fun and relaxing trip even though we were on thego most of the time. I really should have gotten a picture of the
elevator since we were on it so much. The kids fought over who
got to push the inside and outside buttons. Some of the funny
parts of the trip were us trying to get all of our crap into the
hotel in one trip. It was comical. I felt like we were moving in.
Then once we actually got everything in the elevator (we took
up the whole thing) we ended up getting off on the wrong floor
and then had to reload the elevator again! It was so funny.
Another funny moment was when we were going to the
gondola for the second time the way we went out the first
time was closed so we headed back toward the garage to get
out there and accidentally went out the wrong way and ended
up in the garage without the exit. There were all these people
holding the doors for us since we had a huge entourage and so
by the time we got out to the garage and realized it was wrong
we just pretended it was exactly where we wanted to go until
we knew the coast was clear to go back in and try again. I
almost peed my pants it was so funny. We had quite the
experience with the elevators. It was kind of a maze so it
was tricky trying to figure it all out, but by the last day we
had. What was funny was Joe went out the morning we
were getting ready to leave to take a load out and when we
finally all went to leave together we went to push the elevator
number and he said, "no that one won't get you to the right
level." We were like, "believe us we know how to get around
this joint." He even got lost! After the zoo we headed back
to Layton and went to my moms favorite dollar store and
then to Tai Pan where I could have spent all day. We were
only there for an hour and 1/2 and I didn't even pass the
halloween stuff! I need to go back and spend the day there.
Then we went to Red Robin where my mom has never been.
We didn't get home until about 11p.m. but it was all worth
it we had such a good time. Thanks mom for the fun
weekend!!!!

There were so many new little babies there and they were all
