New room!

I finally got around to getting Macy's "big girl" room
done. I had fun collecting things along the way, but
the bed spread was the hardest to find and I'm still
not totally in love with it, but I think it's cute. I guess
I just had something else in mind, but once I got it all
together it turned out fine. The other thing I was dying
to do was paint really cute, but we're planning on selling
this summer sometime so I thought that would be a
waste of time and not a good selling point! Next house!
She is still sleeping in her crib which is fine by me. I'll
keep her in there for as long as she'll stay. I had a doctor
tell me the closer to three the better and she's about
27 months so we'll see!

I went to a fun vinyl party
a friend threw and I ordered
the 3 things above the bed and
then just painted some wood
pink and applied it to that. And
then my sister-in-law had a party
too so I ordered this growth chart.
Luckily Joe can get and cut all this
wood for me so I just stuck some
scrapbook paper on it then put the
growth chart on top of that, added
some ribbon and called it good.
Just some nic-nacs. I made a little frame for this
shelf and stuck one of my favorite pictures of Macy
in it.
I tried to hide all those messy toys in the corner! The
only thing left to do is make some pillows for the bed
and chair and add some fabric to the curtains. I want
a little different patterns to add to it. It's cute because
just about everyday Macy will tell me,"I like my new
room." That's all that counts, right?

As you can tell this is my next project, Brady's
room. I threw everything from the other room
into here so now it's really a disaster. I'm getting
some cute bunk beds from a friend in my old
ward who only used them a couple of times.
Luckily I'm getting them for a steal. I'll pick those
up at the end of the week so I'm sure you'll see a
post for his room sometime next week!
