Joe finally got his buck! He's been hunting for years now and hasn't got a deer until now! He's pretty excited to show it off so I thought I'd post it. Not that any of you care to see a dead deer, but I'm so happy for him. He's hoping I can find a place in the house for it. (Not gonna happen). I told him next house I'll make a special room just for his antlers. I do have to say they are pretty good looking horns!

Yeah, so same exact night he was hunting and shooting his deer I was working at Real Deals and cut my head open! I'm helping out at Real Deals decorating for them and Rachelle and I went in (luckily she was with me) and about 2 and 1/2 hours into it a metal bakers rack came crashing down and got me. There were a bunch of ceramic ducks on it so when it fell we couldn't tell if they had cut my head or what. I mean there was blood coming off from both sides of my face just dripping all over the place and we really didn't know where anything was so I'm catching blood with my hands while Rachelle's frantically looking for a towel or something. She grabbed me a plastic bag so I held that under my head while we scrambled to find something to stop the bleeding. The whole time I'm thinking should I go to the ER or go pick up those broken ducks. So we picked up the ducks and mopped up all the blood and left. We usually go in on a Wednesday night before they open up on Thursday, but luckily we went in on Tuesday since Halloween was Wednesday. So Halloween day I went back to see what had been done and nothing had so we went back that night after the kids were in bed and worked until it was done. My sister-in-law said she was glad to see I could get a picture even when I was bleeding from the head. And my mom said that it looked like I bled more than the deer Joe shot! Pretty funny. I had to get a picture because really it was comedy, we just couldn't believe what was happening, here I am bleeding all over and we stay another 1/2 hour trying to get things finished. Luckily it wasn't a great big cut or anything. The rack that fell had a prett thick point that punctured my head and then I hurt a few other places I'm sure from all those ducks. Luckily Carrie (the owner) said she needed a few less of those ducks anyway! She ordered a ton so I didn't feel too bad. I'm glad I know her really well so it wasn't as big of a deal. Anyway that is my drama for the week! Sorry this is so long!!
