We went to Boise this weekend for a fun weekend
as a family. First we went and checked in to our
hotel and then we headed downtown to watch the
steelheads play.
This isn't the steelheads as you can see! This is between
one of the quaters and it was the little kids playing. So
cute!
A good (well blurry) shot of Joe and Brady.
The kids loved it!

Jackson, Rachelle and Berkley went
too and they were sitting just a ways down from us.
This is a cute shot of Berkley enjoying the game.
We got lucky, we had and open seat on both sides and
in front of us so it felt really roomy.

We didn't have time to stop and eat on the way up so
Joe went and found some good pizza and pretzels.
Sports food, huh? It was good though and Brady was
chowing down!
Another time in between quarters. We almost got hit
in the head with a few of these pucks that were thrown
from the crowd.

Rachelle and Berkley came down to say hi for a bit.

Perfect timing so she could get a shot of all of us. Poor Macy
was a little under the weather. She has sad eyes.
So we spent the night and the plan was to go to the temple on
saturday morning while Rachelle's mom watched the kids.
I WISH! We woke up and poor Macy just wasn't herself.
I didn't want to get anybody else sick and I knew she would
want me to be near her. You know when you just want your
mom? So we went and did some shopping (thanks Joe) he's
always good about letting me go do what I want. He did drop
me and Macy off at a store and him and Brady went to
Cabella's so he had some fun there! Then we went to
Cheesecake Factory and ate lunch, Yummy! That place is
soooooooooooooooooo good. Then off we went to watch
Kimberly play in the state championship basketball game.

I think Joe misses the glory days! City league isn't the
same. It was fun going there. Just 11 years ago I was on
that court and my team won the state championship. It
was one of the greatest moments in my life. I will never
forget that feeling. We beat an undefeated team that
had already beat us twice in the regular season (middleton)
and so it was that much sweeter. I still watch the video
from time to time and just love it!

This was about 10 minutes after we got in the car
to head home. They were exhausted. I followed about
a half hour later.
It was such a fun weekend away. The kids are so awesome
to take and it's so fun to see them watching and seeing
new things. P.S. Thanks Jaylynn for telling us you were
going to the hockey game otherwise we probably never
would have went! It was a blast.
