Cutting down the tree

Getting Christmas trees this year was a little different. Usually we are all bundled up and out playing in the snow.
This year all the kids sat in the pickup (except Macy) and watched a movie and played. We usually drive way back in and cut them down, but the snow was so deep even Joe's truck couldn't make it too far. We ended up just getting 3 good ones on the side of the road.

She loves to be outside, so begged to come out with us, even though it was freezing.
We came back to our house and had the girls and Terrance come over and help decorate.
They got to do the tree upstairs.

Tubing

Me and Macy went out and went tubing on Thanksgiving weekend with my brother and the kids. He pulled us all around the field. Then we made a snowman. It was fun just getting out and playing all day.

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent this Thanksgiving out at Joe's parents house. Dea is a great cook and an awesome decorater. The food and tables were awesome!
My booster girls from CSI were there and had such a great time. As we sit down to eat someone lights a candle and says what they're thankful for and then they light someone else's candle and everyone gets a turn. We all end up crying, but it's really touching to see what everyone has to say.

Then it was time to show the foreigners how to hold and shoot a gun. Not that I really now how. Joe showed them!

At the end of the night Grandy got out Mr. Peeps for us to take home. An elf that will watch the kids all throughout the rest of the time until Christmas to make sure the kids are good.
Brady was a little freaked out:)

It was a great day and a great weekend. We didn't go cut down our tree as usual because of the huge snow storm, but we had game night at my parents and just hung out with family. Always a good time.
