Cornerstone

Sunday was a spiritual high. We were able to go to the temple
and watch as the President of our church Thomas S. Monson
put the first mortar in the cornerstone. There are lots of things
that go in the cornerstone and a few of them that I know of are
the histories of the church in this area, written testimonies, I
want to say the temple plans. Oh, I'm not sure everything. I
read all about it, but my memory is horrible. Anyway, lots of
cool stuff.

I took some video of him coming out and speaking and then as
he left so I thought I would at least post this one. A touching
story.

It was so awesome to be standing right in front of the temple watching
our prophet speak to us. He told the story above and proceeded to do
the cornerstone.
Here he is putting the first mortar into the cornerstone.

Hel let a lot of different people take a crack at it and here he is
passing it off to Pres. Eyring.
It was just an awesome experience all day being able to take part in the
cornerstone and then witnessing the dedication later that day. I can't wait
to go through for the first time. I've scheduled a date night this week
at the temple! I'm excited.
