We just got back from another camping trip yesterday and again
a fun time. I figured I got enough pictures on my last post about
camping so I won't do any here. It's all about the same!:)
This one was a little more work to get ready for
because we borrowed Joe's parents trailer and it's been sitting
out at the farm for over a year. Can you say mouse poop? Ya,
disgusting. I had the gloves the mask you name it to clean that
thing. Joe kept saying "it will be worth it". He was right, it was.
We had some crazy thunder/lightning storms while we were
there so it was nice to have some good shelter. Plus, just being
able to sleep in a bed and have the kids not be freezing is nice.
I just love escaping from the real world and relaxing in mother
nature. Although this time around a couple of us caught some
weird stomach bug on Thurs. and Fri. We couldn't figure out
what it was. My brother and I had it and then his wife got it
just for a little bit. It was weird. I still had fun though. The
last day we were there, we were cleaning up and in the middle
of it I bent down to Macy and said "where's my kisses today?"
Usually she puckers right up and gives me a kiss. No, she
turned her head and headed the other way. This may not seem
like such a big deal to most of you, but she's my little baby
girl and is always very loving and it was then that I realized
she won't forever want hugs and kisses from her mom! I just
about cried. She's done it one more time since and I don't know
if I can handle it. What will I do when she doesn't need me?!
It was funny because the sunday before left we got pulled out
of sunday school to get our tickets for the temple dedication,
but he said in exchange for them we would have to speak in
church! Luckily, we were heading up to the mountains!:)
It only prolongs the situation, we have to speak the last sunday
of this month instead. I really don't mind actually, I kind of like
having something to study about.
We really want to go camping again, especially for all the work
I put into cleaning that trailer, but the next two weekends are
all about the temple and we planned on going the last weekend
of the month and then realized it is the Twin Falls fair. Hello!
Sorry to all those we've invited already, but we love fair time.
(maybe we can go to the rodeo instead!)
We usually have lots of family in town so it will be fun.
Maybe we'll go in sept. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:)
