Birthdays

Happy birthday to me! Joe planned a suprise party for me which
was actually a suprise!!:) I thought I was going to be home

making him a birthday cake and having roast for dinner that
night and he came home and said we're going out I got a
babysitter. Well, okay. At least the kids had dinner and we
have some good leftovers for tonight:)! Here are some of my
friends who were patiently waiting for me to get there. Joe
said he didn't pay a buck ninety seven for me not to wear this
tiara! I wore it for a few pictures just to humor him:)
Here's my parents and Joe's parents. People at the party said they
thought my dad looks like he could be my brother. (he's the one
next to me).
Joe and his best friend Luke.
Some other friends.
Here we are getting to leave. Joe had to un-tie the monster
balloons he got me. He was impressed that they were only
$13. The kids have been having lots of fun with these at the
house.
There were also some pretty flowers sitting on the chair.

*Back at the house we had some cake and blew out candles.
Brady really got into it. He spit on about 1/2 of the cake.
Thanks Babe, you're the best. It really is both our birthdays,
but he made it feel like just my own. Although Sunday is our
actual birthday so it was more his day that day.
Here is the cake I made for him and the kids getting ready
to blow his candles out. We just spelled out 31 instead of
putting the cake on fire.
Joe actually scraped some of Brady's spit off this cake.
I'm not a big baker, but it was fun trying to do something original.

Thanks to everyone for all the phone calls and well wishes. I have the best family and friends!
