time for some journaling

I haven't just sat down and wrote for a while about what's been going on with us and I have a horrible memory so I need to do this more often!

Starting with the kids:
Kaden is cracking me up lately. He is quite the talker and has a pretty big vocabulary for a 16 month old. The words I can think of that he knows are, mommy, daddy, papa, bottle, drink, more, down, want some, I eat, up, I poo, food, all done, ta-da(while his hands fly up in the air), there are probably more, but that's about it. Although he will pretty much try and repeat anything you tell him to. He's just barely started to run or at least try to run! He is my feistiest kid so far. If he doesn't get what he wants he let's you know it. I'm currently trying to break him of that! He's just about to switch to one nap a day which will be nice, sort of. It might throw my piano schedule off a bit so I gotta get that worked out. He's a picky eater as most kids are, but he loves candy. I have to hide it or that is all he would eat. He loves his daddy. Especially now that he never gets to see him. Whenever Joe is around he gets so mad if he has to put him down, it's cute. He is overall a very happy, fun kid and is growing up way to fast!

Macy is becoming a little whiny lately which I'm about sick of. It's actually gotten better the past 2 weeks, but she went through a little time when she would whine about everything. She's also so smart and sweet at the same time thank goodness! She's learning to write and loves to color pictures for people. She loves it when grandma sends her letters in the mail. She asks everyday if she got a letter. She's my little babysitter too. She watches and protects Kaden if I'm taking a shower or on the phone or whatever. She's also my runner, anytime I need something she knows right where to find it. She absolutely could eat mac'n cheese for every meal and she loves popsicles. I can't wait to see what she's going to do in life! I'm so glad I have her for one more year at home.

Brady is starting to figure things out a little bit! He should be getting to start preschool here in the next couple of weeks. He needs some help with his speech still and comprehension. He's really smart when it comes to gadgets and electronics though so we might have a cute geek on our hands, which I'm so okay with! He lost a tooth on Sunday and didn't even know it. Got home from church and it was gone. Didn't even know it was loose! The one next to it is loose as well so we'll see if we can catch that one! He loves his Nintendo DS. Best yard sale find I've ever found for sure! He would play that thing all day if I let him. He still hates loud noises and new things. If Macy tries it first he usually will too, but is very leery of things. He is a little antagonizer when it comes to Kaden. He just likes to pester him so Kaden doesn't really take to him as well. Kaden and Macy though have the best relationship. Brady and Macy do too. They are best friends and are so cute to watch together. He also never, never, never flushes the toilet. I've about had it with that! He loves, anything fruit and he also loves ice cream.

Joe is hard at work planting grain. He's been very busy which has been a blessing. Weird though because he gets home anywhere from 10:30 to 1 most nights. There have been a few nights he hasn't come home at all or he'll come home and shower and sleep for an hour or two and then go back out. He bought a tractor a couple months ago and is doing custom farm work. He is loving it. He's had a few more breakdowns and flat tires then he planned for but work has come along and that's definitely an answer to prayer. It will be nice when the season is over and he can be home a bit more and have a little more of a life!

I am keeping busy with my kids and my niece who I watch during the week. I still teach piano and do personal shopping which I am loving. I try to craft when I can, but that's slowed down a lot since I have a new calling and am busy with other things. I'm doing the invoicing and paper work for Joe and trying to keep up with blogging and facebook takes time!:) I got put in as 2nd counselor in the Relief Society presidency which has been fun. It's been fun to get to know more people as I've been in there. I'm in charge of enrichment now and luckily I was on the enrichment committee before this calling so I feel very comfortable there which is nice. I've also been busy having my csi girls over hanging out and doing laundry. I have two booster girls, but there is always at least 4 of them here at a time. It's been nice though because Joe hasn't been around so they've kept me company! And they're great babysitters too. I also started volleyball last week which has been nice to get away for a bit. I love our team. I joined the Y about a month ago and have been going to zumba with Stacy which has been fun. It's a great work out and nice to be active. Life is good!
