Christmas fun

This was us this year going up to the mountains and getting our Christmas tree.  We got up there kinda late and really only had about an hour to search but we found 2 we loved just in the nick of time!

Macy's basketball team.  She did pretty good for her first year.  She was definitely the biggest player and the coach was always yelling "get under the basket!"  "Look for Macy!"  She'll be hearing that her whole life:)

This was the night of the festival of lights.  It was our first year going and we had so much fun going, it will definitely be a new tradition of ours.

The "REAL" santa!
This was one of our Christmas countdown activities.  I saw this cute felt xmas tree on pinterest that looked fun so I made that along with some ornaments and we played blindfolded pin the ornament on the tree.

Relief Society dinner

We had our annual Relief Society Christmas dinner and it was a huge success.  My committee did a great job pulling this all together with me.   We had a really cute photo booth set up when you first walked in that everyone walked over to and took pictures.  A girl in our ward Alyson Misseldine is a photographer (lucky us) and just happens to be on our committee so it was perfect that she was able to do them.  They all turned out awesome!! I put a few of my favorites in to show you!

Here's the committee..... Me, Joyce, Alyson, Kym, BillieJo, Mandy, and Amy!
Just a peek at the decor.

Then we had the best time doing some minute to win it games.  It was so fun to see everybody just laugh and have fun! We were lucky to have it catered by Tomatoes, then we served hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls afterwards.  I made everyone an ornament to take home that had a really neat poem on it called the "The Christmas Nail".  It was a really nice night.

Night of bowling

We went out for one of our Christmas countdowns to the bowling alley.  The kids absolutely LOVE to bowl!  The nice thing is kids under 5 are free so we just had to pay for at least one adult to play so Joe played with them.  Too bad they're 6 now!:)
