Fun in the sun

I decided to get some sun today so I filled up the kiddie pool and
headed outside with the kids in our suits. We had popsicles and
headphones and cold drinks. I layed out for a while before
deciding it was time to have a little fun. I'm not sure why
I don't think of these things all the time, but I decided it was
time to play. We all took turns sliding down the slide into
the pool, imagine it...............yeah, funny. I'm a little big
for that pool, but the kids thought it was funny, and so did
I. Then we got out our big buckets that I got at a yard sale
yesterday and I started chasing the kids all over the back
yard splashing water everywhere. They tried getting me too,
but the buckets were almost as big as them so I gave them
some cups and they got me with those. It was just fun to let
loose and be a kid again. I'm determined to have more moments
like this. As we emptied out all the water from the pool, we
headed inside and Macy looked over at Brady and said, "that
was so much fun wasn't it Brady." Of course he said "yah". I
think it was more fun for met though. I was wishing the whole time I
had a video of it then remembered I was wearing my suit, I
mean who would I really let watch that?!

Something other things I want to remember.... I was playing around
on the top bunk of Brady's bunk beds with the kids and I was tickling
them with my mouth. Kind of using my teeth on their backs and feet.
Out of nowhere Brady attacked. It was hilarious!! He went for my feet
first and just started doing what I was doing to them. He wasn't biting
either just moving his head back and forth on my feet. Then he would
sit up and attack my stomach and do the same thing. I was laughing
histerically watching him and parts of it actually did tickle too. Too cute
that boy.

One more..... We took our activity girls out on a little nature hike on
thursday. I took my kids in their strollers and on the way back I let
the kids get out and walk. My activities girls stopped to look at an
ant hill or something and Macy was a little ahead of them and she
turned around and yelled, "let's go girls, let's hoof it." (Kelly, my
partner in crime had said to her daughter right as we left on the
hike, "I don't want to hoof it with you the way, referring to carrying
her youngest daughter on the hike). I didn't even think Macy heard
her, apparently she did!

So photogenic!

So Macy got ahold of my camera and wanted to take a picture.
Don't look at me, ew.
Brady had to have a turn too.............

Macy always has to follow Brady again.
Then my turn. Oh, I just love these two.
More pics of Macy posing for the camera.
Once again, don't look at me here, I shouldn't say that cuz now you will for
sure! I just got done working out so I have an excuse:)
I just love how she smiles a real smile. No faking it here, she loves to
be in front of the camera.
