camping 2010

We got a late start heading to the mountains and to top it
off I wasn't feeling good so the whole way there I was grouchy
sick and annoyed. I usually love just the excitement of
getting there and watching out the window, but I had my
head burried in the pillow the whole way there. I was
hoping to get there by 2 but it was 5 before we pulled in.
Luckily after I took some excedrin my night was much
better.
Our camping trip started out with a suprise baby shower for
my sister in law who isn't due for another 4 weeks, but is
about ready to have her anyway. She really wasn't supposed
to even come on this trip, but they are die hards so they did
anyway!

This is their 6th child so she was suprised that we planned a baby

shower for her.

Kaden got a suprise kiss from his cousin Taylor while eating

breakfast.

We've gone to Baumgartner every year my whole life and we've

never been to this swim hole. We had to drive about 7 miles to

find it, but it was awesome. Very secluded and private.

Poor Kaden's allergies were pretty bad up here and every

picture I took of him he looks miserable. I think he was

trying to figure out where the heck we were too!

I planned some minute to win it games and only got one picture!

The rest of them I videoed because they were too funny.

We drove up the mountain a ways to get out and go on a little

nature hike with the kids. We did tye dye t-shirts one day so

all the kids wore them with the new hats grandma gave them.

This was the first year that Brady was able to jump in the hot

pool without any assistance and he had such a blast. As you can

see.

One night all the kids decided to sleep together in one tent.

Too bad Macy had a hacking cough and had to be taken back to

our tent.

The older girls planned some fun games for all the kids to play.

Kaden even wanted to do the pinata.

We had so much fun this year! There was something planned

everyday that was different so the kids were entertained and

so were we. I hated seeing it come to an end. We're hoping to

go one more time in the next month or so.
