Macy woke up a little early this morning and crawled into
bed with me. After a few minutes I opened my eyes and
we were just gazing at each other for about 5 seconds and
she said, "I love you mom" and reached her arm around
my neck and cuddled in a gave me a soft hug. I love
mommy moments like those, that started off my day
just right.
The other night I was putting the kids down to bed and
said to Brady, "I love you buddy" and he looked up
and said, "I love you mom". The words by themselves
melt my heart, but for some reason when they put mom
behind them it is so precious.
My kids mean the world to me.

Those are the best moments. I wasn't feeling well the other day after a not-so-fun doctor's appt. Then yesterday when we woke up Kya asked, "mom are you feeling better". I said yes and then she gave me a hug and said, "I am so glad you feel better, mom". Its so fun when kids can really show emotion and share tender moments like that. Great post.
