We went to California for a few days last week which was
so fun. Joe and his brother Jackson got invited to go to a builders
convention by one of their distributors i-level. Here we are at
dinner with Sky (middle) who works in Boise for i-level. This was in Union Square. We ran into a huge heart so I had to
get a shot of it. Joe's a jokester so the first shot was a funny one:)
I wish I would have had a camera going at the airport when we got home.
I've only left the kids one other time over night so I was just itching to see them. Joe's mom watched them for us while we were gone and since we flew right into Twin she brought them to the airport to see us get off the plane. I could see them when we landed and Macy just kept on waving in the window. As I got off the plane I just started to wave and I couldn't wait so I just started running for the door. As soon as I got in the door Macy came running into my arms and was squeezing me so tight over and over. It was the best homecoming ever! I reached out for Brady and of course he was looking for dad. After a good couple of minutes Macy finally looked at me and said, "where's my daddy?" Then we traded kids and started it all over again. Man, I love my little ones. It was a fun time away, but so good to get home and be together again.

How fun, I love little get aways. The trip isn't complete without Bush man right? That guy is freaky, but so cool.
It really is the best part when the trip is over and you can come home and see your kids, it's like you love them more when you get alittle break. I am glad you guys had fun and the kiddos survived :)
That Bush Man totally got me one trip. So, we had to watch others get spooked. (that was like 6 years ago!). Glad he is still there same location.
Your trip sounds so fun!!
Sounds like you had a great time. I remember the bush man, I didn't get scared by him but a girl next to me almost needed to be peeled down from the sky she jumped so high.
Glad you are home with your little ones. After we left Kya for a few days from Grandma Weeks' (while I was at my race and Carl was moving the truck from Colorado), we opened the car door and Kya looked at us and said, "mommy, daddy, Kya" and then just started to cry. We held her and she didn't want to let go for several minutes. Too fun, its hard to be away from them, huh?
I LOVE San Fran. My cousins lived there and now live close by. I've visited often and just love the city, bush man and all!
You look so great in all your photos and I'm w/your hubby on the more spontaneous, crazy photos, they show everyones real personality!
Your homecoming was like a movie. I felt like I could see both of your faces as you were describing it. It had to be priceless.
Okay... crazy behind his own little bush would definitely freak me out. You all look like you had a blast! I'm totally jealous, San Francisco is a fun place, huh!
