Kids these days!

I'm usually pretty good about writing in my journal, but lately
I've been a slacker so I'm going to do an entry here. Better than
nothing! I can't get enough of the things Macy is saying right now.
She is such a little mommy. One of the cutest things is when I tell
her I love her I point and say I love you most. So she points right
back and says I love you most! It's funny how she emphasizes a
different word than me. She's always so thoughtful too. She always
says, "mommy do you need a blanket?, are you cold?" "Do you want
a pillow mommy?" I love how she says the last word in every sentence
in a higher toned pitch. Last night we were in the car and she had a
little bag of food and she was sharing with Brady and after he would
get one piece he would immediately say "more, more" and she would
say, "eat that one first Brad(Braid), chew it up first"! Let's see what

else? First thing in the morning she runs to Brady's room and says,
"Good morning Brady, did you sleep good............... huh?" Then she'll
immediately go into our room and see that Joe is gone and as she

snaps her finger she says "Daddy went to work, darn it" Sometimes
at night when Joe gets home from work she won't be in the mood to
play or be tickled, but he'll chase her and she'll have this frightened
look on her face as she's running toward me screaming, "no thanks
daddy, no thanks!" At least she's polite! Anytime anyone coughs she
pats them on the back and says "you okay, huh?" She says bless you
mommy, daddy or Brady, when we sneeze. If she hurts her leg or if I
bump her somewhere or whatever she'll say "I gotch your leg" and
she expects a kiss at once! When she wants me to hold her she says
"Hold you" with her arms stretched way high! Some things I just
can't correct her on because I just think it's the cutest.
She quizzes me on colors. She'll say "what colors that?" It'll be
green and I'll say, "is it blue" and she looks at me with her head
cocked slightly to the side and says, "it's green", like duh?!
She can do the alphabet, count to 10, repeat some silly rhymes
I say to them at night with the hand gestures. I gotta get those
on video it's the cutest thing she is doing right now. She does it
exactly how I do it! Whenever we go to put her panties on she
says, "don't pee your panties." And as I go to put them on she
holds on to my neck and says, "mommy's gotchya" The
other day Brady was, well let's just say he couldn't go #2 and so I

had to get out the ole' thermometer and try probing him a bit, I
know too much information, but this is my journal remember!
Anyway, she asked what that was and I said it's a thermometer.
Later that night just before bed I went to put a diaper on her and
she was squeezing her butt cheeks saying, "no thermometer".
She did it about the next 3 or 4 diaper changes! One more.........
the other day I was putting one of my many purses away and she
said "mommy's not leaving" I told her "yeah I have to go, I love you"
and she said with her nose all scrunched up "no, mommy's just
kidding, huh mom, mommy's just kidding?" Oh, I thought of more.
She always knows where we're at, the other night we were going to
Joe's game at Robert Stuart and she said, "no Beejae's house" She used
to live by the college. Then we were downtown and she said
"no nicoles house". (My sister-in-law) I was like 12 before I even
knew how to get to Twin from Buhl. I would always fall asleep on
the way! And just about everyday when we drive by the temple
she says "there's the temple mommy, that's a big temple, awesome!"
"Do you see the temple Braid?" One of the funniest things she's ever
said was when we were home and I was folding laundry in my
room and things got a little quiet(never good) and so I went in
the kitchen to check on them and Macy was up on a chair next to
the counter. She was looking over at Brady in the dining room and
asking him "Brady, do you want some medicine?" Well, I was just
watching her and she was trying to reach it. She caught me out
of the corner of her eye and turned around pointed directly at me

and said, "you don't see Macy, go watch a movie!" What a little devil!:)
She's too dang smart and cute for me! This was longer than I thought
so Brady's post will be tomorrow. He doesn't talk as much as her so
it shouldn't be this long, but I can't make any promises!

You guys had to do so much to get your children, I'm so glad that you really enjoy everything. Sometimes I think I take my kids for granted because i'm fertile mertle, but I like to read things like this. It makes me think.

Kids reallys are so precious! I love that Macy is like a little mom, the things she says are soooo funny. I was laughing because I could never hear my 2 year old saying those things! Don't you love being a mom.

Too cute! Isn't it so fun to see the things they say? They definitely have their own little personalities, it's to fun to watch them become their own person. Those stories are fun, can't wait for Brady's!

Oh, she is so adorable! I was totally picturing her as I was reading her comments and the one where she said you don't see Macy, go watch a movie! I was bustin up laughin! Ok, so this HA trip is set for Oct 19th to the 26th. It's still tentative right now, my bro put in the reservations last week, it takes 2 weeks to confirm the hotel dates. It would be 40$ a night plus a one time 15$ room cleaning fee, The room has 2 queens in them, so you would actually split the rm & that price with someone, so it makes a sweet deal! Golfing is like 35$ (usually 130$) but, only two people on the course at a time Mark has to be my bro so it's him and one other person so the guys could rotate! Mark says they'll only go in the morning so then they'll be done around 10am or so we have the whole day to go and do things! So anyways let me know for sure if you are serious about it, as we can only have 4 couples total! I'm gonna see if we can do 6 (add one more room) anyways, more details later.... hope you can come, it's a once in a lifetime experience!! Luvs, Jay
